Profile：

Ariel Chi joined BBDO, Taiwan in 1984. Less than half year, he emigrated from Taiwan to South America with whole family. However, he still was passionate on advertising work and recommended himself to JWT of Santiago, Chile branch office in 1986.

1991, Ariel came back to Taiwan and joined JWT as creative director of Ford Motors creative team. In his 23 years advertising experiences, he won a lot of global and local advertising awards. At the pride of his career, he touched on the Chan courses of Dharma Drum Mountain (DDM) very occasionally. He earnestly practiced moral teaching from Chan Master Sheng-Yen and shared his personal learning in Chan courses by his drawing. That’s what NOBODY(Wu Wo) comes from.

Ariel created a character of NOBODY (Wu Wo) to present the wisdom of words from Chan Master Sheng Yen and shared his personal learning on Taoist tour with most of people. He also donated his creative works of NOBODY (Wu Wo) by calendar, stationary and cup as the charity bazaar for promoting the ideal of DDM.

Ariel started his personal career from 2005 since he left Leo Burnett advertising Taipei Taiwan His business covers full range services of icon graphics, free style drawing and sketching, branding and product creation. Of course he still provides advertising/creative services for some clients which are familiar with him and admired his brilliant ideas, such as BMW, Taiwan. However, Ariel accomplished his dream of freedom and enjoyed the incomparable happiness in the new phase of life.
